How To Make Johnny’s Fried Pickles Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 jar of dill pickle spears (16 oz)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Drain pickles and pat dry with paper towels.

  2. In a shallow bowl, mix flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.

  3. In another shallow bowl, whisk together milk and egg.

  4. Heat 1 inch of oil in a skillet to 375°F.

  5. Dip each pickle spear in the milk mixture, then coat in the flour mixture.

  6. Fry pickles in the hot oil until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.

  7. Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
