How To Make Aunt Susie’s Chicken and Rice Casserole
A comforting, hearty casserole with tender chicken and fluffy rice, perfect for a family meal.

Ingredients
- 1 cup uncooked long grain rice
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a deep 9×13 inch (23×33 cm) baking dish, combine uncooked rice and water. Place chicken breasts on top of rice.

In a mixing bowl, whisk together cream of mushroom soup, mayonnaise, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.

Pour mixture over chicken and rice.

Cover dish with foil and bake in preheated oven for 35 minutes.

Remove foil, sprinkle shredded cheese on top, and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.

Let casserole cool for a few minutes before serving.
