How To Make Aunt Susie’s Green Bean Casserole

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of fresh green beans, trimmed and washed
  • 1 can of condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • 1/4 tsp of black pepper
  • 1 cup of French-fried onions

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

  2. Bring a pot of salted water to boil. Add in green beans and cook for 5 minutes. Drain and set aside.

  3. In a separate bowl, mix condensed cream of mushroom soup, milk, and black pepper.

  4. Stir in the cooked green beans and half of the French-fried onions.

  5. Transfer into a casserole dish and bake for 20-25 minutes.

  6. Sprinkle the remaining French-fried onions on top, and broil for an additional 2-3 minutes until golden brown.

  7. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
