  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 4 eggs

Instructions

  1. In a medium pot, bring the water to a boil. Stir in the rolled oats and salt, reduce heat to low, and simmer for 5 minutes.

  2. Stir in the black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Cook for an additional 5 minutes, until the oatmeal has thickened.

  3. Meanwhile, in a separate pan, fry the eggs to your desired doneness.

  4. Divide the oatmeal among four bowls. Top each bowl with a fried egg, grated Parmesan cheese, and chopped green onions. Serve immediately.
