Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and sugar.

  2. Add yogurt, milk, and melted butter to the dry ingredients. Mix until a soft dough forms.

  3. Knead the dough for 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.

  4. Cover the dough and let it rest for 10 minutes.

  5. Divide the dough into 4 equal portions. Roll each portion into a round naan shape.

  6. Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat. Place the rolled naan on the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown spots appear.

  7. Brush each naan with melted butter and sprinkle with chopped cilantro and green onions.

  8. Serve hot with your favorite breakfast toppings or as a side dish.
