  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup plain yogurt
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons melted ghee or butter

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.

  2. In a separate bowl, mix the yogurt, milk, and melted ghee or butter.

  3. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.

  4. Knead the dough for about 5 minutes on a lightly floured surface until smooth and elastic.

  5. Divide the dough into 4 equal portions and roll each portion into a thin circular shape.

  6. Heat a grill or grill pan over medium heat and lightly oil the surface.

  7. Place the rolled naans on the grill and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side, until golden brown and cooked through.

  8. Serve hot with your favorite curries or as a side dish.
