Ingredients

  • 1 pound beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Cooked rice, for serving

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Add the beef and marinate for 10 minutes.

  2. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat. Add the ginger and garlic, and sauté for 1 minute.

  3. Add the marinated beef and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until browned and cooked through.

  4. Add the bell pepper and onion, and stir-fry for an additional 2-3 minutes until vegetables are crisp-tender.

  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Stir in the green onions.

  6. Serve the beef and ginger stir-fry over cooked rice.
