Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Cooked rice, for serving

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, ginger, and garlic. Set aside.

  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat.

  3. Add the sliced beef and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

  4. In the same skillet, add the bell peppers and onion. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until tender-crisp.

  5. Return the beef to the skillet and pour in the sauce mixture. Cook for an additional 2 minutes, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens.

  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  7. Serve the ginger beef stir-fry over cooked rice.
