How To Make Pizza Dough Pretzels

Ingredients
- 1 lb pizza dough
- 2 tbsp baking soda
- 1 egg, beaten
- coarse salt
- melted butter, for brushing
Instructions

Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Divide the pizza dough into 4 equal pieces. Roll each piece into a long rope and shape into a pretzel.

In a large pot, bring water and baking soda to a boil. Drop each pretzel into the boiling water for 30 seconds, then remove using a slotted spoon and place on the prepared baking sheet.

Brush each pretzel with the beaten egg and sprinkle with coarse salt.

Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.

Remove from the oven and brush with melted butter. Serve warm.
