Ingredients

  • 8 mozzarella sticks
  • 1 cup whole wheat breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. In a shallow bowl, mix together breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, oregano, garlic powder, and black pepper.

  3. Dip each mozzarella stick into beaten eggs, then coat evenly with the breadcrumb mixture.

  4. Place the coated mozzarella sticks on the prepared baking sheet and spray with cooking spray.

  5. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.

  6. Serve hot with marinara sauce or your favorite dipping sauce.
