Serves:
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup diced onions
- 1/2 cup diced pickles
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1 tbsp mustard
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 8 egg roll wrappers
- Vegetable oil, for frying
Instructions
-
In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess grease.
-
Add the onions to the skillet and cook until softened, about 5 minutes. Stir in the diced pickles, ketchup, mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Cook for an additional 2 minutes.
-
Remove the skillet from the heat and stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted.
-
Lay an egg roll wrapper flat on a clean surface. Spoon about 2-3 tablespoons of the cheeseburger mixture onto the bottom corner of the wrapper. Roll the corner over the filling, tucking it in tightly. Fold in the sides, and continue rolling up until the top corner is sealed. Repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling.
-
In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil to 375°F. Carefully add the egg rolls to the hot oil and fry until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
-
Serve the cheeseburger egg rolls with additional ketchup or mustard for dipping. Enjoy!
