  • 3 red chili peppers, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons of rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons of honey
  • 1 tablespoon of lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon of cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup of water

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, heat 1 tablespoon of oil over medium heat.

  2. Add the chopped chili peppers and minced garlic, and cook for 2 minutes until fragrant.

  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, lime juice, cornstarch, and water until well combined.

  4. Pour the sauce mixture into the saucepan with the chili peppers and garlic.

  5. Cook the sauce over medium heat, stirring constantly, until it thickens and becomes glossy, about 3 minutes.

  6. Remove from heat and let the sauce cool before serving.
