Ingredients
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
-
In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
-
Stir in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Reduce heat to low and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and well combined.
-
Continue to simmer the sauce for about 5 minutes, or until it thickens to your desired consistency. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
-
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
-
Remove from heat and let the sauce cool for a few minutes before serving. The sauce will continue to thicken as it cools.
