Preparation: 5 minutes
Cooking: 10 minutes
Total: 15 minutes

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.

  2. Stir in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Reduce heat to low and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and well combined.

  3. Continue to simmer the sauce for about 5 minutes, or until it thickens to your desired consistency. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.

  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  5. Remove from heat and let the sauce cool for a few minutes before serving. The sauce will continue to thicken as it cools.
