  • 1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Rinse cranberries and discard any stems or leaves.

  2. In a saucepan, add cranberries, sugar, water, cinnamon, and ginger. Stir to combine.

  3. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally.

  4. Let it cook for 10-15 minutes or until the cranberries have popped and the sauce has thickened.

  5. Remove from heat and add vanilla extract.

  6. Serve warm or cold.
