How To Make German Potato Salad Recipe

A tangy potato salad that is perfect for picnics and BBQs.

Ingredients

  • 6-8 medium sized potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 6 slices of bacon, chopped
  • ½ cup diced onion
  • ½ cup apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Boil potatoes in a pot of salted water until tender. Drain and set aside.

  2. In a skillet, cook bacon until crisp. Remove with a slotted spoon and set aside.

  3. In the same skillet, sauté onions until translucent. Add apple cider vinegar, sugar, mustard, salt, and pepper.

  4. Stir the potato mixture into the skillet with the dressing and heat through.

  5. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve.
