How To Make Jets’ Meatball Sub Recipe

Delicious and easy-to-make meatball sub, perfect for a quick lunch or dinner!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • 4 hoagie rolls
  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce
  • 8 slices of provolone cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. In a bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, parmesan cheese, parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well and form into 12 meatballs.

  3. Place meatballs on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until fully cooked.

  4. While meatballs are cooking, slice hoagie rolls in half and place on a baking sheet. Toast in the oven for 5 minutes.

  5. Warm up marinara sauce in a saucepan over low heat.

  6. Once meatballs are done, place 3 meatballs on each hoagie roll. Spoon marinara sauce over meatballs and top each hoagie with 2 slices of provolone cheese.

  7. Broil in the oven for 2-3 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.

  8. Serve hot and enjoy!
