Ingredients

  • 4 hoagie rolls
  • 4 beef sausages
  • 2 bell peppers, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional toppings: cheese, mustard, mayonnaise

Instructions

  1. Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.

  2. Brush the sliced bell peppers and onion with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.

  3. Grill the sausages and vegetables until cooked through and slightly charred, about 10 minutes.

  4. Assemble the sandwiches by placing a sausage on each hoagie roll, followed by the grilled bell peppers and onion.

  5. Serve with optional toppings, if desired.
