Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp ginger, grated
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/4 cup peanuts, chopped
  • 1/4 cup green onions, sliced
  • 1 head of lettuce, leaves separated

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the ground pork. Cook until browned and cooked through, breaking it up into crumbles.

  2. Add the minced garlic and grated ginger to the pan and cook for an additional 2 minutes.

  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, hoisin sauce, honey, rice vinegar, and water. Pour the sauce mixture over the pork in the skillet.

  4. Reduce heat to low and let the mixture simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens and coats the pork.

  5. Remove from heat and stir in the chopped peanuts and sliced green onions.

  6. To serve, spoon the sticky pork mixture onto lettuce leaves, wrap them up, and enjoy!
