How To Make Slow-roast Pork Shoulder

Ingredients
- 3 lbs pork shoulder
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp paprika
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp onion powder
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C).

In a small bowl, mix together the paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, brown sugar, salt, and black pepper.

Rub the pork shoulder with olive oil and then coat it evenly with the spice mixture.

Place the pork shoulder in a roasting pan and cover it tightly with aluminum foil.

Roast in the preheated oven for 4 hours, or until the pork is tender and easily pulls apart with a fork.

Remove the foil and increase the oven temperature to 400°F (200°C). Roast for an additional 15-20 minutes to crisp up the skin.

Remove from the oven and let the pork shoulder rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing or shredding.
