How To Make Sausage & Broccoli Carbonara

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 8 oz spaghetti
  • 4 sausages, casings removed and crumbled
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

  2. In a large skillet, cook the crumbled sausages until browned. Remove from skillet and set aside.

  3. In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute. Add the broccoli florets and cook until tender.

  4. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, Parmesan cheese, heavy cream, parsley, salt, and pepper.

  5. Return the cooked sausage to the skillet with the broccoli. Pour the egg mixture over the sausage and broccoli, stirring quickly to coat everything evenly.

  6. Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet and toss until well combined and heated through.

  7. Serve hot, garnished with additional Parmesan cheese and parsley.
