How To Make Ham, cheese & mushroom turnovers

Ingredients
- 1 sheet of puff pastry, thawed
- 1 cup of cooked ham, diced
- 1 cup of mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup of shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
- 1 egg, beaten
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface and cut it into 4 equal squares.

In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked ham, mushrooms, shredded cheese, salt, and pepper.

Place a spoonful of the ham and mushroom mixture onto one half of each puff pastry square.

Brush the edges of the pastry with beaten egg, then fold the pastry over the filling to create a triangle shape.

Use a fork to crimp the edges of the turnovers and seal them.

Place the turnovers on the prepared baking sheet and brush the tops with beaten egg.

Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the turnovers are golden brown and crispy.

Allow them to cool slightly before serving.
