How To Make Sichuan-style Pork & Green Bean Stir-Fry

Ingredients
- 1 lb pork, thinly sliced
- 1 lb green beans, trimmed
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp ginger, minced
- 2 tbsp Sichuan peppercorns, crushed
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp chili flakes (adjust to taste)
- Salt, to taste
- Scallions, for garnish
Instructions

In a large wok or skillet, heat the vegetable oil over high heat. Add the pork and stir-fry until cooked through. Remove the pork from the wok and set aside.

In the same wok, add the green beans and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until they start to blister. Remove the green beans from the wok and set aside.

In the same wok, add the minced garlic, minced ginger, and crushed Sichuan peppercorns. Stir-fry for a minute until fragrant.

Return the pork and green beans to the wok. Add the soy sauce, rice vinegar, sugar, chili flakes, and salt. Stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes until everything is well coated and heated through.

Garnish with scallions and serve hot with steamed rice.
