How To Make Mongolian Mushroom Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 lb of mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. In a pan, heat vegetable oil over medium heat.

  2. Add in mushrooms and cook until tender.

  3. Add in ginger, garlic, and green onions and cook for 1-2 minutes.

  4. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, water, cornstarch, and red pepper flakes.

  5. Pour sauce over mushrooms and stir until well combined.

  6. Cook until sauce thickens and coats the mushrooms.

  7. Serve hot with rice.
