Ingredients
- 4 hot dog buns
- 4 hot dogs
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup mustard
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions

Preheat grill or stovetop grill pan.

In a skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the sliced onions and bell peppers and cook until softened and slightly caramelized, about 10 minutes.

Grill the hot dogs until heated through and slightly charred.

Place each hot dog in a bun.

Spread mayonnaise and mustard on the buns.

Top the hot dogs with the sautéed onions and bell peppers.
