Ingredients

  • 1 small red cabbage, shredded
  • 2 apples, diced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add onions and garlic and sauté until onions are translucent.

  2. Add shredded red cabbage and diced apples to the pan. Stir well to combine.

  3. Pour in apple cider vinegar and sprinkle with sugar. Season with salt and pepper.

  4. Cover the pan and cook for about 20-30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the cabbage is tender.

  5. Adjust seasonings to taste and serve hot.
