- 4 leeks, cleaned and trimmed
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Cut the leeks into slices, about 1/2-inch thick.
