  • 4 leeks, cleaned and trimmed
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Cut the leeks into slices, about 1/2-inch thick.

  3. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the leeks and cook until they are tender, about 10 minutes.

  4. Transfer the cooked leeks to a baking dish and sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese.

  5. Season with salt and pepper.

  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

  7. Serve hot as a side dish.
