Ingredients

  • 8 oz penne pasta
  • 2 chicken breasts, cooked and shredded
  • 2 leeks, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish.

  2. Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  3. In a large skillet, sauté the sliced leeks and minced garlic in olive oil until softened.

  4. In a large bowl, mix together the cooked pasta, shredded chicken, sautéed leeks, heavy cream, mozzarella cheese, and grated Parmesan cheese. Season with salt and pepper.

  5. Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish.

  6. In a small bowl, combine the breadcrumbs and melted butter. Sprinkle over the pasta mixture.

  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.

  8. Let cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
