- 1.5 lbs salt beef
- 1 small cabbage, cut into wedges
- 4 potatoes, peeled and halved
- 4 carrots, peeled and cut into chunks
- 2 turnips, peeled and cut into chunks
Instructions

Rinse the salt beef to remove excess salt.

Place the salt beef in a large pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil and simmer for 1 hour.

Add the cabbage, potatoes, carrots, and turnips to the pot. Simmer for another hour or until the vegetables are tender.

Remove the salt beef and slice it thinly.
