Ingredients

  • 6 Kings Hawaiian sweet rolls, cut into small cubes
  • 1 can (13.5 oz) coconut milk
  • 1/3 cup cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Toasted coconut flakes for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, whisk together coconut milk, cornstarch, sugar, and salt until smooth.

  2. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and starts to bubble, about 5-7 minutes.

  3. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.

  4. In a baking dish, place the cubed Kings Hawaiian sweet rolls and pour the coconut mixture on top.

  5. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until set.

  6. Garnish with toasted coconut flakes before serving.
