How To Make Slow Cooker Texas Pulled Pork

Tender and juicy pork seasoned with Texas-style spices and slow-cooked to perfection.

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs boneless pork shoulder
  • 1 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tbsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix together chili powder, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.

  2. Rub the spice mixture all over the pork shoulder.

  3. Place the pork in a slow cooker and pour chicken broth over it.

  4. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours.

  5. Once done, remove the pork from the slow cooker and shred it using two forks.

  6. Serve the pulled pork hot on buns or with your favorite sides.
