How To Make Dr Pepper Slow Cooker Pulled Pork Recipe

Deliciously tender pulled pork recipe that is slow cooked in Dr Pepper and seasoned with flavorful spices.

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs boneless pork shoulder
  • 1 can Dr Pepper
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a slow cooker, combine Dr Pepper, ketchup, brown sugar, mustard, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.

  2. Place pork shoulder in slow cooker and spoon mixture over it.

  3. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until pork is tender and easy to shred.

  4. Remove pork from slow cooker and shred with two forks.

  5. Place shredded pork back into slow cooker and stir to coat with sauce.

  6. Serve hot on buns or as desired.
