How To Make Steamed Clams and Shrimp

This recipe is the perfect meal to complete your barbeque cravings. It is easy to make and will only need simple ingredients from your kitchen.

  • 3 lbs clams
  • 1 lbs shrimp
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ cup butter, cubed


  1. Prep: Preheat barbecue to medium heat.

  2. Take 2 long pieces of foil, lay them on top of each other. Long enough to wrap around the clams and shrimp.

  3. Use ½ of your cubed butter then lay it on top of the foil then add the shrimp and clams.

  4. Add minced garlic on top.

  5. Then add the rest of your butter, a pinch of salt, and two pinches of pepper.

  6. Wrap up sides over clams and shrimp.

  7. Turning edges over twice to create a bag around clams and shrimp.

  8. Place on the barbecue, rotate over twice every ten minutes.
