  • 1 pound of calamari rings
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, paprika, salt, and black pepper.

  2. Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 375°F (190°C).

  3. Dip the calamari rings into the flour mixture, shaking off any excess.

  4. Carefully place the coated calamari rings into the hot oil, frying them for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.

  5. Use a slotted spoon to remove the calamari from the oil and transfer them to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

  6. Serve the crispy calamari rings immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.
