How To Make Calamari and Lemon Garlic Butter Recipe

Tender calamari sautéed in a flavorful lemon garlic butter sauce.

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 1 lb of calamari, cleaned and sliced into rings
  • 1/2 cup of all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp of garlic powder
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp of butter
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 1/4 cup of chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. In a shallow bowl, combine flour, garlic powder, salt and pepper.

  2. Dredge calamari rings in the flour mixture and shake off excess flour.

  3. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.

  4. Add the calamari rings to the skillet and cook until golden brown and crispy on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.

  5. Squeeze in lemon juice and stir in chopped parsley, cook for another 1-2 minutes.

  6. Serve hot and enjoy!
