How To Make Crab Mac ‘n’ Cheese Bake

Ingredients
- 8 oz elbow macaroni
- 1 lb lump crab meat
- 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup butter
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Cook the macaroni according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.

In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour and cook for 1 minute until lightly browned.

Gradually whisk in the milk and heavy cream. Cook, stirring constantly, until thickened and smooth.

Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese, Old Bay seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until melted and well combined.

Gently fold in the cooked macaroni and crab meat until evenly coated.

Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and sprinkle with additional shredded cheese if desired.

Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden and bubbly.

Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
