  • 4 walleye fillets

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • Vegetable oil, for frying

Instructions

  1. In a shallow bowl, mix together flour, salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper.

  2. Dip each walleye fillet into the beaten eggs, then coat with the flour mixture, pressing lightly to adhere.

  3. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

  4. Fry the coated walleye fillets for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.

  5. Remove from the skillet and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

  6. Serve immediately with lemon wedges and tartar sauce.
