  • 4 walleye fillets

Instructions

  1. Cut walleye fillets into bite-sized pieces.

  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and pepper.

  3. Add ice-cold water to the flour mixture and whisk until smooth.

  4. Heat oil in a deep fryer or a deep skillet on medium-high heat.

  5. Dip walleye pieces in the batter and carefully drop them into the hot oil.

  6. Fry for 3-4 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.

  7. Remove walleye pieces from the oil and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
