How To Make Walleye and Vegetable Stir-Fry
A delicious and healthy stir-fry recipe packed with fresh walleye and colorful veggies, perfect for a quick weeknight dinner.

Ingredients
- 1 pound walleye fillets, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 yellow onion, thinly sliced
- 1 cup snow peas
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- Optional: chopped fresh parsley or cilantro, for garnish
Instructions

In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce and honey. Set aside.

Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the garlic and cook for 30 seconds.

Add the walleye to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes or until almost cooked through. Remove the walleye from the skillet and set aside.

Add the bell pepper and onion to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes or until softened.

Stir in the snow peas and mushrooms and cook for 2-3 minutes or until tender-crisp.

Add the walleye back to the skillet. Drizzle the soy sauce-honey mixture over everything and stir to coat.

Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes or until heated through.

Season with salt and black pepper, to taste. Serve hot, garnished with chopped fresh parsley or cilantro, if desired.
