How To Make Baked Scallops

Ingredients

  • 1 lb scallops
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. Pat dry the scallops with a paper towel.

  3. In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

  4. Remove from heat and stir in the lemon juice.

  5. Place the scallops in a baking dish and pour the garlic butter mixture over them. Season with salt and pepper.

  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, until the scallops are cooked through and opaque.

  7. Sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.
