It may sound like ugh but believe me when you try it, it will become one of your favorite salads of all time. It’s cool and refreshing and there are many ways to plate it.

A wonderful blend of savory grapefruit salad with the addition of fresh avocado! The contrast between the savory smooth avocado along with the tart and plump grapefruit interestingly complements one another in this tasty dish.

  • 1 avocado, ripe
  • 1 pink grapefruit , or a jar of pink grapefruit slices
  • French dressing
  • lettuce


  1. Take avocado pit and remove peeling.
  2. Section grapefruit, place lettuce on plate, place avocado in fan-like position on plate on top of lettuce then alternate the grapefruit sections with the avocado.
  3. Drizzle French dressing on top of it.
  4. I like to save time by purchasing the grapefruit already sectioned in the produce dept of your grocery store.
