Ingredients
- 2 cups of long-grain rice
- 1 tablespoon of turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon of cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon of onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
- 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
- 4 cups of chicken or vegetable broth
Instructions

In a large saucepan, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.

Add the rice to the saucepan and cook, stirring, for 2-3 minutes until lightly toasted.

Stir in the turmeric powder, cumin powder, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper until the rice is evenly coated with the spices.

Reduce the heat to low, cover the saucepan, and simmer for 15-20 minutes until the rice is tender and the liquid is absorbed.
