How To Make Spicy Sausages and Linguine

Made with pork sausage, salsa, and bell peppers, this spicy sausages and linguine pasta recipe serves a tummy-filling dish with a kick!

  • 2tbspolive oil
  • 2clovesgarlic
  • 10small pork sausage links
  • ¼tspdried Italian seasoning
  • 1jarPace® picante sauce or Pace® chunky salsa
  • 3medium green peppers,or red peppers
  • 1medium onion
  • 8fresh mushrooms
  • 16ozlinguine,(½ package)
  • parmesan cheese,grated


  1. Heat the oil in a 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat. Add the garlic, sausages, and Italian seasoning. Cook until the sausages are well browned and cooked through.

  2. Stir the picante sauce, peppers, onion, and mushrooms in the skillet. Heat to a boil. Cover the skillet. Reduce the heat to low.

  3. Cook for 25 minutes or until the vegetables are tender.

  4. Serve over the linguine and sprinkle with the cheese. Enjoy!
