How To Make Macaroni and Tomatoes

Ingredients
- 8 ounces of macaroni
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 can (14.5 ounces) of diced tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon of dried basil
- 1 teaspoon of dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions

Cook the macaroni according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, and cook until the onion becomes translucent.

Add the diced tomatoes, dried basil, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper to the skillet. Stir well and let it simmer for about 5 minutes.

Add the cooked macaroni to the skillet and toss to coat it with the tomato mixture. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, until everything is heated through.

Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the macaroni and tomatoes, and toss gently to combine.

Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley.
