Ingredients

  • 8 oz linguine pasta
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 cup fresh basil leaves, torn
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Grated Parmesan cheese for serving

Instructions

  1. Cook the linguine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.

  3. Add the cherry tomatoes to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes until they start to soften and release their juices.

  4. Stir in the cooked linguine and torn basil leaves. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  5. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until everything is heated through.

  6. Serve the pasta hot, sprinkled with grated Parmesan cheese.
