How To Make Elegant Penne with Asparagus and Shrimp Recipe

Ingredients
- 8 oz penne pasta
- 1 lb fresh asparagus, trimmed and cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions

Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.

Add the asparagus to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes, until crisp-tender.

Push the asparagus to one side of the skillet and add the shrimp. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until pink and cooked through.

Stir in the cooked penne pasta and toss until well coated in the garlic and olive oil.

Remove from heat and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
