How To Make Brown Sugar Meatloaf with Ketchup Glaze

Ingredients
- 1.5 pounds ground beef
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/4 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 egg
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, brown sugar, ketchup, onion, garlic, salt, black pepper, paprika, thyme, parsley, oregano, basil, and egg. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.

Shape the mixture into a loaf shape and place it in a greased baking dish.

In a small bowl, mix together the ketchup and brown sugar to make the glaze. Spread the glaze evenly over the top of the meatloaf.

Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).

Remove the meatloaf from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
