Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp mustard
  • 1/4 cup ketchup

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, onion, garlic, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

  3. Shape the mixture into a loaf shape and place it in a greased baking dish.

  4. In a separate bowl, mix together the brown sugar, mustard, and ketchup. Spread this glaze over the top of the meatloaf.

  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour, or until the meatloaf is cooked through and the glaze is sticky and caramelized.

  6. Remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.

  7. Serve hot and enjoy!
