Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup parsley, chopped
  • 1 cup tomato sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, crumbled bacon, onion, garlic, bread crumbs, milk, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, salt, black pepper, and parsley. Mix until well combined.

  3. Shape the mixture into a loaf shape and place it in a greased baking dish.

  4. Pour the tomato sauce over the meatloaf, spreading it evenly.

  5. Bake for 1 hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).

  6. Remove from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes.

  7. Slice the meatloaf and serve with additional tomato sauce if desired.
