How To Make Cheese & Bacon Lasagne

Ingredients
- 9 lasagne noodles
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup chopped bacon
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (14 oz) crushed tomatoes
- 1 can (6 oz) tomato paste
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh basil leaves, for garnish
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Cook the lasagne noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, cook the ground beef, bacon, onion, and garlic over medium heat until the beef is browned and the bacon is crispy. Drain any excess fat.

Add the crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, oregano, basil, salt, and black pepper to the skillet. Stir well and simmer for 10 minutes.

In a 9×13-inch baking dish, spread a thin layer of the meat sauce. Arrange 3 lasagne noodles on top, followed by a layer of the meat sauce, mozzarella cheese, and Parmesan cheese. Repeat the layers, ending with a layer of meat sauce and cheese on top.

Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the cheese is golden and bubbly.

Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh basil leaves, if desired.
