
How To Make Red-Neck Turtle Burgers

Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup BBQ sauce
- 1/4 cup chopped onions
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 4 hamburger buns
- 4 slices of cheddar cheese
- 4 slices of cooked bacon
- 1/2 cup caramelized onions (optional)
Instructions

In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, BBQ sauce, chopped onions, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

Divide the mixture evenly and shape into 4 patties.

Preheat grill or frying pan over medium-high heat.

Cook the patties for about 5-6 minutes per side or until desired doneness.

During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheese on top of each patty and allow it to melt.

Toast the hamburger buns on the grill or in a toaster.

Assemble the burgers by placing a patty on the bottom half of each bun. Top with a slice of cooked bacon and caramelized onions, if desired. Place the top half of the bun on top.
